All Signs Point To Yes!

metamorphosis
[met-uh-mawr-fuh-sis]
noun, plural met·a·mor·pho·ses [met-uh-mawr-fuh-seez] /ˌmɛt əˈmɔr fəˌsiz/.

1. Biology. a profound change in form from one stage to the next in the life history of an organism, as from the caterpillar to the pupa and from the pupa to the adult butterfly.
2. a complete change of form, structure, or substance, as transformation by magic or witchcraft.
3. any complete change in appearance, character, circumstances, etc.

The caterpillar... expansion, growth, change, new beginnings.

The past ten days have been exactly that: expansion, growth, change and new beginnings. This could not be more relevant, even though I was completely unaware of the correlation, albeit in a metaphysical way.

As I bore witness to my backyard being overrun by an entourage of caterpillars, nesting in and devouring my exceedingly old willow tree, I found myself mesmerized by their growth, determination and commitment in finding the perfect place to begin their metamorphosis.

From the windows of my office to the nooks and crannies of the balcony, these incredible creatures would not rest until they found their sanctuary. A place of peace and serenity in which they could begin to contemplate the next phase of their lives.

I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I have never worked so hard, for free, in my life. So it is to be a writer, a creative and a budding entrepreneur.

But therein lies the beauty of it all. Because really, at the end of the day, what matters is not how much money you have in the bank, not how much ‘stuff’ you have, but actually, how much joy, happiness and fulfillment you have in your life and your soul.

To be able to give back, to raise awareness, to help those less fortunate than ourselves, to help support and empower people, to help them to grow, to expand to reach their highest potential. Just like the caterpillar, just like the butterfly, cocooning and emerging only weeks later in a new, beautiful, stronger form to go on and live a brand new and exciting life.

So in these past ten days, when I find three butterflies, on three separate occasions, on the floor in my kitchen, I realize that is the Universe showing me and reminding me that I am on the right path.

The launch of two websites and a PodCast, one benefiting the orphanage of Casa Hogar Sion in Tijuana, the other encouraging and empowering women to stand in their power and speak their truth, could not be more on point.

Launching myself into a whole new arena, propelled by divine timing, is the ultimate form of creation.

Go with the flow because the flow knows where to go. Look for the signs, look for the inspiration and the passion that lights the fire within you, and remember, growth is all about change, just like the caterpillar.

If I have learnt nothing else in the past ten days, it is simply to embrace change, embrace growth, and to evolve, expand and follow your passion and your dreams. Do what lights you up.

Do not let anyone deter you or take you off your path. Do not let fear paralyze you. You think you don’t know what you’re doing, you’re scared, you’re breaking down with frustrations, anxiety, fear. That is exactly the clue that you are on the right path. All signs point to yes, be present enough not to miss them.

Embrace it, own it, trust it and break though it. That is your inner voice telling you this is exactly where you need to be.

Look for the signs and remember.

Go with the flow, because the flow knows where to go.
